Spring 2025: Hunt Business Graduate Programs Celebrate Milestone
The Big Picture: The Woody L. Hunt College of Business honored nearly 100 graduating students from the MBA, MAcc, MSE, and Ph.D. programs during its Spring 2025 Hooding and Certificate Ceremony at the Starlight Event Center in East El Paso.
The evening marked an important milestone for graduate students — celebrating academic achievement, mentorship, and the transition into new professional chapters.

- Remarks from UTEP President Dr. Heather Wilson and Dean Dr. John Hadjimarcou set the tone for the evening, emphasizing academic excellence and leadership.
- Graduates were formally hooded and presented with certificates in recognition of their successful completion of the MBA, MAcc, or Ph.D. program.
- Four student speakers helped present the 2025 Teaching Excellence Awards, which celebrate faculty impact across graduate programs.
