Doctoral and Master’s Hooding Ceremony

This is an opportunity for all graduating Master’s degree earners to be formally “hooded” by their program faculty with the graduate regalia before commencement. This ceremony DOES NOT REPLACE commencement.

  • Regalia: All students must be prepared with regalia. This includes hood & gown for Master’s and Doctoral graduates.  Regalia Information: 
  • Check-in:  3:30 p.m. at the Magoffin Auditorium Main entrance
  • Map: 
  • Tickets for Family & Guests: There is no limit to how many guests you can invite to your ceremony. Guests will not be issued tickets. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis, and reserving seats is not allowed.

  • Doors to the Magoffin Auditorium for guests will open at 3:30 p.m.
  • Please leave strollers and carriages in your car.

 

 

Recommended parking is at the Sun Bowl Garage next to the Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é Bookstore, please see map as a reference:

 

 

  • All faculty must wear regalia to participate in the ceremony

Ceremony photos will be taken by a professional photographer and can be viewed/purchased via the .
