Trips
The Recreational Sports Department is looking forward to exploring the outdoors with you this semester! Develop new skills, appreciate the wilderness and build lifelong relationships. Experience various activities such as hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, white water rafting, kayaking, skiing, snowboarding and more. Join other UTEP students on the many adventures we have to offer!
Trips can now be purchased online! Visit our to purchase a spot on any of our current outdoor trips. To access our Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é Portal you must be an active member of the Student Recreation Center.
Trips are open to currently enrolled UTEP students and Student Recreation Center Members (Faculty and Staff only). Any UTEP Faculty or Staff who are not members of the Student Recreation Center will need to register in-person to secure a spot.
Trips do have limited capacity and spots often fill up quickly, on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration fee includes transportation, group gear, campsite reservations, guides, and food (except meals on the road).
Day Trips - these trips generally depart in the morning and return same day
Multi-day Trips - these trips generally depart at the start and return at the end of the weekend.
