Existing employee:

  • Extends the appointment for an existing employee
  • Change in pay for an existing employee
Affiliate Request

New Affiliate Request & Existing Affiliate:

  • Appoints a university affiliate who will not be paid or receive benefits through UTEP but needs access to facilities or systems for other purposes.*
  • Extend access for an existing affiliate
New Position

New Position:

  • Creates new position
Position Attribute Change

Existing Position:

  • Changes to a position such as FTE (Hours), Reports To, Department, Location, or Working Title.
End Employee Assignment (s)       •   Ends an employment record for an employee with one or multiple appointments.
Retirement       •   Ends all employment records for employees retiring from the university.
Position Funding Change        •   Updates the funding source for a position
Additional Pay 
  • To request payment to full time faculty or staff for additional duties performed outside their full time job function.
