EH&S offers a variety of online, instructor-led, and specialty safety classes for UTEP staff, faculty, and students. EH&S also offers Scischield, to campus laboratories. Scischield is a lab specific web portal that allows laboratory managers and P.I.s to organize their safety information.

EH&S offers forms and resources to promote healthy and safe operations on campus to protect students, faculty, and staff. The Workers Compensation program at UTEP ensures the presence of systems to minimize the frequency and severity of personnel injuries.

EH&S makes emergency procedures available to UTEP Students as a quick reference. Students should review these to be familiar and prepared, should an emergency occur. Student should always contact their professor, supervisor or EH&S with any safety questions or concerns.
