College of Nursing
The College of Nursing’s RN-to-BSN program provides a flexible online alternative for working registered nurses to attain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. This program eliminates duplication of content and clinical practice experience achieved by the skilled registered nurse.

Ranked No. 3 among the Most Affordable Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é RN-to-BSN programs in the U.S. (EDsmart, 2019)
Accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education
Alexis Baltier would rate her experience with the RN-to-BSN program as "10 out of 10." She appreciated the flexibility of the online program and the support from helpful professors. Alexis successfully balanced working as a Public Health Nurse, caring for her kids and earning her degree online. Now that she has her BSN, she has access to more opportunities, including applying for promotions, receiving raises, or furthering her education by enrolling in a master's program.
Registered nurses holding BSN degrees can expect to earn higher salaries than those with associate degrees or diplomas. To date, hundreds of registered nurses have earned their bachelor’s degrees through UTEP's RN-to-BSN program.
