Services for UTEP alumni and the El Paso community

The Student Testing Office serves as a test center for universities or agencies that offer correspondence courses.

Who can take a correspondence exam?

Correspondence test services are offered to students who need to take tests from other schools or agencies. Both paper-pencil and computer-based (CBT) formats are available. 

Payment Procedures

You will be required to pay the test administration fee of $30 (TCEQ is now able to register ahead of time).  The test fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.  The test administration fee for an off-schedule test is $45.

You may also pay the test fee online with a credit card.    

The fee is per proctoring service session.

THE TEST FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-TRANSFERABLE. 

Note: A non-refundable convenience fee of $3.50 will be applied for online payments.  

Ãå±±ÂÖ¼é Payment Instructions: 

1. Go to  
2. In Step 1 "Choose A Group", select Correspondence Fee
3. In Step 2 "Choose an exam", select Correspondence Fee 
4. In Step 3, enter your required information
5. In Step 4, read thoroughly and check the box to agree to the guideline acknowledgements
6. In Step 5, enter the required information.  
7. Click "Add to Cart" 
8. if the amount is correct, click on the green "Ready to checkout" button
9. Verify the amount and click on the green "Continue" button
10. Complete payment information and press Continue
11. When payment is completed successfully, you will receive a confirmation email

When payment is complete, forward a copy of the confirmation email as proof of payment to testing@utep.edu 

On the day of the test

Report to the Student Assessment &Testing Office 15 minutes early for check-in.  You will be required to present an official, unexpired identification card with a current photo.  

If you arrive late and without valid identification, you may not be admitted.
