🚀 The Biggest AI Hackathon is Back — October 24–26, 2025!
This past April, the Borderplex showed up big for the Biggest AI Hackathon, and the results were nothing short of legendary. Over 184 participants—including 40 university teams, 6 high school teams, and one all-female finalist team—pushed the limits of AI innovation. From first-timers (82 competing in their very first hackathon!) to seasoned coders, the energy was off the charts: 226 energy drinks, 45 hours of nonstop creativity, and $4,500 in cash prizes awarded.
Participants explored the latest tools—OpenAI, HuggingFace, LangChain, Supabase AI—and turned ideas into real-world solutions. By the end, more than half planned to keep building their projects, and 92 participants said they’d recommend the hackathon to a friend. With $900K in Microsoft for Startups credits awarded, 14 mentors, 20 student volunteers, and 13 industry judges, the April hackathon proved that the Borderplex is ready to lead the future of AI.
